cheap cheat to fix tired, old dashes

i'd venture to say there are more cracked o2 dashes out there than mint ones...an alternative to very expensive repair or replacement is a dashcap...topsonline sells dashcaps for most models of bmw's including the one piece 2002 dash. I have fitted the one piece cap on a 3 piece dash and although there are some voids due to the slight difference in the dashes, the cap will work on the multi piece dashs

the dashcaps are molded to perfectly fit the one piece dashes and simple to install. they do not have the shift pattern printed on them nor any of the switch labels...they are entirely black.

as you can see, it's easy to change the color of your dash simply by using plastic or vinyl dye...any off the shelf dye will work as well as any designer, name brand...

online ordering is simple and shipping is fast...expect to pay about $40.00 shipping, although these caps are very lightweight, they are oversized in regards to shipping costs

Auto Interiors" has a fixed price of $189.00 and a color selection, that's far superior to both World Upholstery & seams perfect, available in both cut & sewn or the original factory moulded style...this clearly is the best alternative to paying more and having to wait while your number comes up. orders are filled and shipped within 2-3 days and usually recv'd within a week or less....when i ordered by phone on tuesday, the package was delivered to me friday, the same week.,.shipping costs - $14.00 and it comes with all the same features, including the accelerator toe pad

if you can use the cut pile style carpet found in newer cars, Stock Interiors, with a price of $139.95 and 25 plus colors available, is shipped from the US with fast order processing..... this is a great alternative if you're on a budget but still looking for a great replacement set....i've purchased 2 sets from this company and their carpets are excellent for the money

my personal experience with World uphostery was, it was exactly what you'd expect when ordering over the web.... i immediately recv'd a confirmation that my order was processed then, it took approx 20 days for delivery...there were no complications

my experience with Seams Perfect was less than perfect and consisted of having to write and ask what was available and how long it would take...it took a week + to get an initial response to my inquiry, no delivery was promised and it took another 2 weeks to get the single color sample offered. no further attempt was made by Seams Perfect to contact me about alternatives

evidently, al larson the owner of Seams Perfect doesn't properly repond to his patrons emails and or phone calls once he has their money...additionally once you send him money for goods or service, he may not do what he told you he would do when he accepted your money....you might be in for a long ride trying to reach larson and get your merchandise...

It's been 5 weeks since I orderd door panels from the FAQ store and Al. No sign of the panels, and everytime I ask I'm told they are on the way.

I would NOT recomend doing business this way and am very very disapointed. I've been told the parts have been shipped but have not been given a tracking number or any confirmation as to when I could expect them. I could have made a new set of panel's myself in a few hours but was trying to save time. What a joke.

It's crappy material, it's sewn poorly, and it doesn't fit worth a damn. I tried to fit it into my 67 1600, and it was lumpy, bumpy, and cut all wrong. You really, truly get what you pay for. You earned that miserable carpet set, every crappy thread of it.
